Dr. Dean Vander Wiele has served as senior pastor of Coatesville Bible Fellowship since June 2005 after serving churches in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is a graduate of Word of Life Bible Institute, Lancaster Bible College (BS), Liberty University (MAR, MA) and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (DMin).

Kathy has served as Director of Children’s Ministry since October 2006.    She is a graduate of Lancaster Bible College (BS in Bible-Elementary Education).  The combination of Kathy’s heart for sharing the love of Jesus to children, combined with a wonderful group of volunteers, makes the children’s wing an exciting place to be! 

Dean & Kathy are college sweethearts that have served together in ministry for over thirty years.  Their love for God, each other and serving the body of Christ is evident to all.  When not at CBF you’ll find them working in their yard, taking a walk, out on their motorcycle or floating on a big boat.  They are the parents of three adult children.

Christopher Garland, Pastor of Youth & Adult Ministries

Chris served as Pastor of Next Generation Ministries (youth and young adults) from April 2007 to Feb. 2011 when his role changed to Pastor of Youth and Adult Ministries. He has a passion for youth and for teaching and has worked in the field of youth ministry since volunteering in 1998. He became a full-time pastor in 2005 and has enjoyed helping young people grow in their faith. He is a graduate of Lancaster Bible College (BS in Bible—Youth Ministry and MAM in Pastoral Studies) Chris and his wife Joy have three children, Gabriel (Middle), Gideon (Right) and Faith (Left).  Chris’ vision for his life is to: “Intentionally contact, teach and encourage students, to make a spiritual impact in their lives, while equipping them to do the same, in order to reach their friends for Christ.”

 Chris Stein, Pastor of Worship Ministries

 
Chris Stein has served as worship pastor of Coatesville Bible Fellowship since September 2011 after serving churches in New Jersey, Illinois, and Pennsylvania.  He has also served as a chaplain in the fields of trauma, hospice, and corporate chaplaincy.  He is a graduate of the Penn State College of Medicine where he studied Medical Chaplaincy, as well as the Philadelphia College of Bible where he studied Theology and Biblical Leadership.  A worship leader since his teens, Chris has a music ministry that has taken him around the country serving various denominations and organizations.  Chris has shared the stage with bands such as Kutless and Audio Adrenaline, as well as artists like Paul Baloche and Lincoln Brewster.  When a guitar is not in his hand, you will find Chris enjoying a good book or shooting a round of sporting clays.

Donna Laird, Church Secretary

Donna came on staff with Coatesville Bible Fellowship in August, 2007. CBF is her home church and she is very excited to be a part of the ministry team. Donna brings a willing spirit, a gift of organization and administration, and a desire to serve God in her ministry. Donna spends her spare time with her husband and three children.  Her hobbies include boating and collecting miniature pitchers.  If you call on the phone or stop by the church office, it will be Donna’s cheerful voice that will greet you.
